About the event
The ARTEMIS Space Observatory and the Municipality of Karpenisi jointly proudly announce the implementation of the ARTEMISNET – Starlight Bridges programme, which is funded by the Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD) of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), as part of the projects approved for 2026. This international funding, selected from more than 150 applications globally, constitutes a significant distinction for Karpenisi, recognizing both the exceptional quality of its night sky and the innovative, community-driven character of the initiative.
